Cabin Fever

Greg had about a week of leave before he left for his deployment. If you know anything about him, you know that he becomes stir crazy in a matter of minutes and that is NOT an exaggeration. The other day, I went outside to take Myles out and found these pictures on my memory card. Looks like someone knows how to use the wireless remote now. Le sigh. What am I going to do with him?!

Take a Picture, It’ll Last Longer!

So, I had been entertaining the idea of dabbling in photography. I wasn’t quite sure what I’d be doing with the new skill set but I knew I wanted to learn. Greg is such a great support system and he nudged me over the ledge. After conducting extensive research, we took the plunge.


I’m still learning about all the great things a DSLR can do. Hopefully, I can build a skill set strong enough to take my sister’s senior pictures. Be on the lookout for (share-worthy) photos!

Greg’s Pinning Ceremony and Deployment

Quite a bit has happened in the last couple of weeks. We’ve moved to Charlottesville, VA, Greg was promoted to Lieutenant and the next day, he deployed with his ship. I’ll share photos once the house is in showing condition but here are a few from Greg’s pinning ceremony and the ship heading out for deployment.
