Wine-ing for Summer…

This winter has been buh-rue-tal. It’s been so cold, my blog has bee in hibernation! I’m eagerly awaiting the return of long summer days spent on a sprawling lawn, glass of vino in hand.

The W.O.W Experience

Two weeks ago, we were fortunate enough to be part of Wisdom Oak Winery‘s  (W.O.W.) first Winemaker’s Dinner. From beginning to end, it was an experience that satisfied both the visual and physical appetite! Each course was prepped by the head chef, Dean Maupin from C & O Restaurant  and paired with a wine from the vineyard. If you know me, you know that I have a Charlottesville bucket list and visiting the winery has been on my list before the list even existed!

When I came upon the Facebook post about the dinner, I purchased tickets without hesitation. I can’t begin to describe how amazing everything was so I’ll let the pictures do the talking!

Greg and I with gracious hosts, Jerry and Melanie of W.O.W. Such fun and welcoming folks!

If you’re wanting to visit W.O.W., they are running a great deal on a wine tour for two or four people on Amazon. Check it out, only a few hours left!
